Two-ingredient Jerk Chicken

Want an authentic jerk chicken? Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning and chicken are the only ingredients you need! Experience the authentic taste of the Caribbean in every bite!



  • 2 full chicken legs

  • 2 tbsp Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning



  1. Preheat the oven to 325 ̊F. 

  2. Clean, wash, and pat dry chicken. Keep skin on so that chicken retains moisture. 

  3. Lightly sprinkle Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning on the underside of the whole chicken legs. Cover the skin side with most of the Cool Runnings Jerk Seasoning using approximately 1 tablespoon of seasoning per leg.

  4. Place the chicken with the skin side up into a baking pan and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 40 minutes.

  5. Baste the chicken with the juices in the pan, increase the temperature to 350 ̊F, and continue baking the chicken for another 30 minutes, while basting the chicken every 10 minutes.

  6. Remove chicken from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Baking times may vary depending on the size of the chicken legs or if you decide to use other chicken cuts.
